A man fell into a deep hole and struggled to get out. People passed by, offering advice, but none could help. Then someone came along and said, “I've been here before.” He climbed into the hole and showed him the way out. Life has its own holes—failure, loss, disappointment, and mistakes. Sometimes we don't need someone to judge us or give us advice. We need someone willing to walk with us. As Scripture says, “Carry each other’s burdens.” — Galatians 6:2 And when you finally climb out, remember to reach back for someone else.

Jesus’ parable of the two sons (Matthew 21:28–32) reminds us that God sees beyond our words — He sees our hearts. One son said “no” but later obeyed. The other said “yes” but never moved. In this short story, Jesus invites us into honest repentance and faithful obedience. The Father is still calling. Will you go?
